Fighting against extinction.

By Gude Sánchez

It is time to fight against extinction. Flora, fauna and the planet are weeping and dying slowly. Mexico is recognized as one of the regions with the maximum differences in biodiversity on the planet. It boasts an incredibly rich variety of flora and fauna. However, the threats of climate change and human development is placing a big strain on its biodiversity.

These are some species in danger of extinction: Golden eagle, gray whale, jaguar, Mexican prairie dog, monarch butterfly and sea cow. These species are already under protection in Mexico. It is very positive that government and non-profit organization are working to protect and promote the conservation of these species.

Nevertheless, there are countless number of species in which find themselves in danger of extinction. It is urgent not only in Mexico but also around the world to encourage and incorporate in every field, social and governmental institutions in order to preserve the ecosystems and biodiversity.

Frida Kahlo film

Frida Kahlo Film.
Written by Gude Sánchez.
One of my favorite movies is the Frida Kahlo film. The movie has stars like Salma Hayer from Mexico and Alfred Molina from England. The film was directed by Julie Taymor.

It takes place in Mexico City. The film was released on October 13, 2003. It talks about Frida Kahlo’s life. She was a very famous Mexican painter in the twentieth century.
Her life was marked by physical suffering that began with a street car accident that left her with permanent injuries. Her spine, several ribs, neck and pelvis were fractured.  Her right foot, and shoulder were dislocated. Having to pass so much time in bed, her hobby, painting became the passion of her life. She painted her own life using vibrant colors influenced by indigenous cultures of Mexico.  Many of her works are self-portraits. She was married to Mexican muralist Diego Rivera.

I recommend this movie!

Do you know what is the tallest Skyscraper in Latin America?

It is well known as the Torre Mayor or Chapultepec Tower. It is in Mexico City. This skyscraper has become a landmark offering an impressive panoramic view of all of Mexico City.

It has fifty-five floors designed for both domestic and global companies. It has forty-four floors of offices free of interior columns, allowing exceptional efficiency in the utilization of the spaces.

It has twenty high speed elevators. It is surrounded by an attractive two level shopping area with an ample variety of commercial spaces. There are thirteen floors for parking with two groups of independent entrances and exits.

The environmental pollution

I am very worried about our planet. I think that the biggest problem we face today is the environmental pollution, caused by many cars, factories, garbage, advertisements in everywhere, etc.

All these things have damaged the Earth Planet.I think it has caused many illnesses as cancer in different part of human body.

I think that the environmental pollution is the most urgent problem to solve. Governments, scientists, civil around the world must take special measures to offset this problem.

If we don't take it seriously our destiny will be very sad.
